A new ad by Weetabix, starring nine-year old streetdance phenomenon Arizona Snow has walked away with a UTalkMarketing People’s Choice award.
The ad for its Chocolate Spoonsize range, created by BBH, features Snow ‘popping’, ‘locking’ and ‘tutting’ her way through a high energy street dance routine in her bedroom (with some help from her teddy bears), and aims to dramatise the role Weetabix can play in setting kids up to make the most of a busy day.
The ad launched during an X-Factor ad break on September 10 and will continue to run nationally for the next few months.
The ad came tops in the UTalkMarketing People’s Choice – our weekly poll, held in collaboration with OMD Snapshots where we ask 1,000 members of the public to vote for their favourite advert currently in the marketplace.
It received 28% of the vote, placing it ahead of the first runner-up, when participants were asked, "Which of the adverts made you want to buy the product or service advertised?"
