Agency: Thinking Juice
Client: Wyke Farms
Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, have launched a national advertising campaign spanning across TV and some of the UK’s leading lifestyle magazines.
The 30-second television advert will reach over 3.5 million viewers through two national broadcast channels, the Five Network and GMTV, to be aired week commencing April 7.
Following the successful broadcast campaign last year, Wyke Farms have invested a six figure sum again this year to include television and print adverts in the May issue of Woman and Home, Good Housekeeping and Easy Living magazines.
Provenance, quality and the traditional values behind the Wyke Farms brand remain central to the companies messaging.
Both the print and broadcast adverts aim to communicate this by telling the story of Ivy Clothier - Wykes founding family member who developed their original farmhouse cheddar recipe in 1902.
The advert shows how the farming processes have evolved over the years to keep up with demand and highlights the Clothier families promise to never change their Grandmothers traditional recipe.
Richard Clothier, third generation family member & Managing Director of Wyke Farms said, “We have a unique story to tell and it’s one that we are really proud of, both as a family and a company.
“The response to the TV ad last year was fantastic so we know the public want to know more about our history and farming methods.”
Wyke Farms have achieved substantial growth year on year by staying true to the traditional values behind the brand. They have become the fastest growing cheddar brand at a rate of 82% year on year.
