Agency: RLA Group
Teleflorist – the UK and Ireland’s largest relay network of florists made up of 1,950 UK and Ireland floristry businesses - has launched an ‘American Beauty’ spoof viral, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Created by the RLA Group, it has been designed to educate consumers on the importance and quality of Telflorist’s traditional floristry services over supermarket and high street retail brand’s boxed bouquets.
Their positioning is highlighted in the strapline, “Teleflorist. We take flowers personally.”
The viral has been seeded in a bid to drive consumers to the retailer’s website while a separate B2B version has been created to recruiting more local florists to the Teleflorist network.
Teleflorist Online Strategy Director, Emily Denyer, explains, “This campaign allows us to highlight to consumers that they must be careful about where they buy their flowers so they know that their flowers are freshly prepared and hand-delivered with care.
“We encourage all consumers to support real floristry and ensure they only buy from companies that do not box their flowers.”
