UK frozen food giant, Findus, has launched a new consumer marketing push, fronted by superchef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
Promoting a new range of restaurant quality frozen foods the campaign is part of a comprehensive re-brand concept conceived by Maverick.
First to get the Novelli treatment is the humble lasagne, closing with the strapline, “Freshness in your freezer.”
Managing director of Findus, Vidar Engen, said: " This is our first TV campaign in more than five years and definitely worth the wait. The initial launch has received fantastic consumer feedback."
TV is being supported with press, posters and POS to educate the public on the benefits of frozen food.
Owen Rees, client services director for Maverick, added, “Combining a chef of Novelli’s stature with the house-hold brand of Findus, meant we were able to deliver a creative and educational marketing campaign.”
