Hendrick’s Gin kicks off the first of its innovative consumer sampling events early in 2008 with The Hendrick’s Kissing Booth – an experiential Victorian photo booth.
Working in partnership with retail store Selfridges, customers will receive a free black and white photograph mounted onto a Valentine’s Day card as well as a single red rose with every bottle of Hendrick’s Gin purchased throughout the week of Valentine’s Day.
“The Hendrick’s Kissing Booth will inspire a new generation of Hendrick’s as it travels the country throughout 2008,” said Louis Xavier Lewis Smith, the UK Brand Ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin.
The Victorian inspired Hendrick’s Kissing Booth will be positioned in the stationery department on the ground floor of Selfridges, and importantly near to the Valentine’s Day cards, from 9-14 February.
Customers will be invited to have their picture taken, with their loved-one, in a sumptuous red-velvet kissing booth decorated with cupids, hearts and flowers.
Couples will then, within minutes, receive a black and white picture mounted in a Valentine’s Day card, sample a complimentary Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic and receive the free gift of a single red rose with every purchase of a 70cl bottle of Hendrick’s Gin.
The Hendrick’s Kissing Booth will be used at various consumer and trade events to promote the unusual and deliciously odd world of Hendrick’s Gin throughout 2008.
