Never work with children and animals, goes the saying, but that hasn’t deterred Tetley in its new campaign to launch its latest drink, Tetley Redbush .
The TV was filmed in the Cederberg mountains in South Africa, from where the drink originates and closes with the strapline ‘Everyone’s cup of tea’.
The ad’s star Mama Bimkubwa is joined by a cast of wildlife as she tells of the virtues of the new tea which is being positioned by Tetley as caffeine-free healthy drink that can be enjoyed all day.
The TV is being supported by an outdoor poster campaign.
Senior brand manager at Tetley, Adele Henkes, said, ”MCBD has done a great job in communicating the tea’s many health benefits and exotic provenance.”
Account director at MCBD, Flora Milne, added, “We wanted to demonstrate that Tetley Redbush has so much going for it in a fun and light hearted way. Mama Bimkubwa is a great way for us to do that as she represents the fun and exotic nature that the drink embodies.”
