Fox Interactive Media have launched a UK version of their successful U.S. men’s lifestyle website of AskMen.com
Targeting 18-34 year old men, the site aims to combine the best of British celebrities, news and features with quality content from the worldwide site. This includes the ‘Top 99 Most Desirable Women’ and ‘Top 49 Men of the Year’ features which were the result of over 10 million user votes on AskMen.com last year.
AskMen joins MySpace, IGN.com and Rotten Tomatoes as Fox Interactive Media’s fourth UK site, creating one of the country’s strongest portfolios of youth focussed websites.
“AskMen is like a man’s dream boutique store, bringing together everything from bespoke tailoring to the latest supercars, the hottest gadgets to the best in sport, women and film.” said Justin Keeling, European General Manager, IGN Entertainment.
“For any marketer wanting to target men with a sense of style, there’s no better place than AskMen”
He added, “The launch of UK specific content is the natural next step to establish AskMen brand in the UK as the site continues to grow exponentially thanks to its breadth, quality and variety.”
Andrew Lubega, who joins from Lycos as UK Content Manager, will work with the global AskMen.com team of editors to highlight the best local content and bring a British sense of style and personality to the site.
