National domestic violence charity, Refuge, is delivering an on and offline integrate awareness and fund-raising campaign this Christmas called 'Raise your Hand'.
Created by Clark McKay and Walpole the campaign goes live in the second week of December and features celebrity presenters Amanda Lamb (pictured) and Janet Ellis alongside models.
Images of the women literally with their hand raised appear in each campaign element including direct mail, email and Refuge website, refuge.org.uk - which directs visitors to more information about the campaign.
Both the direct mail and email marketing activity target the charity's database of supporters and direct traffic to the 'Raise your Hand' area of the Refuge website where additional messages of support from Ruby Wax, Fiona Bruce and Claudia Winkleman are posted.
The drive will encourage donors to 'Raise their Hands' to help stop domestic violence by making a donation by mail, phone or online – all with an option to send a written message of support to appear within the Refuge website.
Refuge Director of communications and fundraising, Lisa King, said, "Domestic violence is a huge problem in the UK - two women are killed a week by their current or former partners in England and Wales alone.
“Thanks to CMW's compelling campaign we have not only given our loyal supporters a great way in which to show their ongoing commitment, but we have created a campaign that we hope will reach out to potential new supporters.
She added, “By galvanizing support and raising our hands we can reach out to even more women and children who live in fear of violence every day of their lives."
Refuge is the country's largest single provider of specialist emergency accommodation and practical and emotional support to women and children escaping domestic violence.
