Iconic drinks brand ‘Schweppes’ has reunited with famed photographer Alison Jackson to create a new Christmas advertising campaign for its range of mixers.
Showcasing the photographic technique for which Alison is famous, the campaign features of unlikely couples entering into the seasonal spirit of goodwill and putting aside their differences in order to share a festive drink.
The creative depicts look-alikes of ex-couple Kate Moss and Pete Doherty, Gordon Brown and Tony Blair, and recently-departed Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and his former boss Roman Abramovich.
They are accompanied by the tagline, “Schweppes, You Know Who…should mix this Christmas”.
The campaign aims to embody ‘Schweppes’ quirky quintessentially British sense of humour, imagining a side of celebrities we wouldn’t normally be exposed to and the full potential of a season of goodwill to all men.
Created by retained advertising agency Mother, the campaign will appear on billboards in London only.
The collaboration with Alison Jackson follows on from the work she did for the brand from 2001-2003, which made her into a household name and won numerous creative awards.
