Shot over five days in Budapest, BBH’s new work for Vodafone aims to raise awareness of the company’s new mobile Internet service.
Physically playing with the concept of time through film, in 'Cartwheel' the film is literally recycled to metaphorically turn 'down time' into 'fun’ or ‘useful time’.
Made up of the same 12 individual shots repeated throughout, the ad features no post production cheats.
The front of the film shows these shots highlighting particular moments within a girl’s day. They are then re-ordered into a new position that eventually, when played through at a particular speed, brings to life the same girl doing a cartwheel and backflip.
This genius work symbolises turning ordinary time into extra-ordinary time and will be airing in countries across Europe, including Ireland.
