Firelighter manufacturer, Zip, has launched an iintegrated marketing campaign to mark its 50th anniversary.
It aims to re-launch the Zip brand and underline its superiority with a new tagline ‘No firelighter burns longer’.
The campaign will run in Ireland on national premium TV channels, RTE 1 and 2 and also involves sponsorship of RTE’s flagship daytime television programme “The Afternoon Show” and it’s website.
The campaign is being backed by a new highly interactive Zip website (zipfirelighters.ie) which aims to make the brand more accessible to its users.
The new look site not only details product information, it also shows the TV commercials, carries details of a competition, and features traditional Irish fireside stories.
Zip Sales and Marketing Director, Simon Bullen, “Zip has enjoyed 50 years of success. The brand is now deservedly synonymous with real fires and has a place at the heart of home life.
“So this winter we are celebrating by showcasing traditional values in a modern context.”
