Singer Will Young is one of a number of celebrities fronting Oxfam Unwrapped’s (tongue in cheek) campaign to rid Christmas of the misery of disappointing presents and to improve the lives of people around the world.
The outdoor campaign sparks the countdown to the screening of a first-of-its-kind spoof charity TV advertisement for Oxfam Unwrapped breaking on Wednesday, November 7.
The supporting UK-wide billboard campaign features images taken by iconic photographer Rankin of Dame Helen, Will Young and Helena Bonham Carter, along with TV presenter Zoe Ball and actor Martin Freeman.
Oxfam Director, Barbara Stocking, said, “With ethical buying at the top of people’s agenda this Christmas, we are sure that people will see this as a way of investing in great presents while supporting work to provide long-term solutions around the world.”
Oxfam Unwrapped is an alternative gift range which provides more than 60 fun and innovative Christmas presents that really make a difference.
