Agency: Open Soho
Open Soho has produced a press, DM and online campaign for Secure-mail, the new email encryption product aimed at the business market from Securecoms.
The campaign launches in mid October and runs throughout November until December in national press.
The DM campaign includes a fake pre-opened letter wrapped in a clear envelope. When opened it reads 'You know when someone's been reading your mail… but what about your email?'.
The campaign also features a series of striking press ads based around images of people reading someone else's private emails displayed in very public places, such as on a billboard, a golf sale sign and road sign.
Every day billions of emails are sent across the internet. Many hold sensitive and confidential information, and a lot of people think their anti-spam and virus-checking software protects their external emails.
This is not the case. If someone wants to intercept emails they can with relative ease. Secure-mail aims to promote that for the first time users can simply remove these risks by encrypting their email in a few easy steps.
Securecoms Marketing Director, Neil Lovell, said, "The quality of creative thinking combined with an understanding of how to integrate a campaign across advertising, print, and online have been spot on.
“Open Soho and Open Digital have taken our brief and turned it into a creative and well targeted campaign".
Concept and development was by Simon Impey and Stephen Campbell at Open Soho. Website design and online animation and graphic style was designed by Dave Daniels at Open Digital. All print work was designed by Brand Faith.
