Next has launched its first ever national television advertising campaign.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the brand, the TV advertising campaign is the latest creation in a long line of exciting new concepts for Next.
The new ad stars Alessandra Ambrosio, South American supermodel and ‘face’ of Next. Shot over five days across London, it sees her passing through her arrangements in a succession of outfits form the label’s autumn/winter 2007 collection.
Next have aimed to create a TV commercial with high production values and a filmic quality that is more than a simple ad campaign.
A spokesperson said, “it’s a story, a movie cut up into 60 and 30 second pieces that will entertain the audience as well as convey the brand message.
“Ale is a character that embodies the spirit of Next with whom customers can relate to and identify with. In the best soap opera tradition the first episode ends in a ‘what happens next?’ cliff-hanger scenario…”
Next’s next instalment will follow Ale north of the border for a festive first date.
