Wieden + Kennedy London has launched a new TV spot for Pizza Hut for their brand new Triple Cheesy Bites pizza breaks.
Following on from the success of ‘Cheesy Bites’ and ‘Cheesy Bites Fondue’, the new Cheesy Bites pizza has 28 tempting bites, filled with a blend of three cheeses: regato style, mozzarella and red cheddar.
The 20” commercial was created by Ida Gronblom and Fabian Berglund and was shot by Charlie Paul at Itch.
Replicating the tone of voice from their other, recent campaigns, the commercial reinforces the idea that diners come to Pizza Hut for a fun, casual dining experience where you gather round and interact with the food and each other.
With Nigel Planer on voice over, the campaign retains a proud, upbeat tone and has an inviting, intimate look and feel.
Chief Marketing Officer, Pizza Hut UK, Hugh Wood, said, “Cheesy Bites has been the most successful product we've launched for several years - when we took it off the menu after its first promotion we were inundated by customer complaints and quickly bought it back as a permanent menu item.
“Triple Cheesy Bites is the third variant we're launching and all our research suggests it'll be the strongest yet.”
He added, “We're confident that Triple Cheesy Bites will be one of our strongest promotional windows of the year'.
