Client: Hendrick's Gin
Need to breathe a new lease of life into a heritage product? Then you could do no worse than take a leaf out of the book of a certain gin brand.
Hendrick’s is organising a sports day with a difference on Sunday, July 14, 2007 in Central London to celebrate some of the unique eccentricities of Britishness.
The Chap & Hendrick’s Olympiad 2007, will see participants do what the British do best; dressing inappropriately, drinking G&Ts and making complete buffoons of themselves.
Competitors will be judged on style, wit, intellect and mental agility. Signalling the opening of the games is the lighting of the Olympic Pipe, followed by a series of ten peculiar track and field events.
Spectators are being encouraged to come along, soak up the atmosphere and sip complimentary Hendrick’s and Tonics while listening to a 1930s jazz band.
