Client: Marks & Spencer
M&S Money has launched M&S Money TV, which is now live with an initial 11 films.
Featuring Phil Spencer from home-buying programme Location, Location, Location, each film has been created to improve awareness and drive engagement.
Amanda Newman, Head of Marketing, M&S Money, commented: “With the increasing popularity of digital and social media channels, the way people consume and share information is changing. As such, we’ve developed our marketing strategy to include an increasing variety of communications platforms, ensuring our customers are able to engage with M&S Money in as many ways as possible," said Amanda Newman, head of marketing at M&S Money.
“The development of M&S Money TV is integral to this strategy and we’ve chosen to work with some fantastic partners to ensure its success. As someone our customers can truly engage with, Phil Spencer was an ideal choice for our films. In addition, Adjust Your Set has a great deal of experience working on M&S TV, which has ensured their work with us is really complementary," she added.
M&S Money has also redesigned its website overview pages to support the integration of the new films. Adjust Your Set, which the brand is working with to produce the new channel, developed a bespoke video player for the TV channel which sits on the website and includes integrated ‘call to action’ buttons for further information and the ability to share the videos with friends via email, Facebook and Twitter.
Each film within M&S Money TV has its own theme and objectives, for example, product films about the M&S Money credit card explain all the features and benefits of the card, while how-to guides provide information on paying bills and switching to paperless statements.
Chris Gorell Barnes, CEO of Adjust Your Set said, “Financial services can be confusing and sometimes complex. Using video we can bring these services to life through informative and engaging stories, providing a valuable customer experience and building both loyalty and trust. M&S Money opens a new door for Adjust Your Set in the financial sector, one that can greatly benefit from online video.”
