Fashion cosmetic brand Barry M has launched a series of new adverts to ‘Make Everyday Beautiful’ that will sponsor Tea Viva, 4Music Sunday and appear on Channel 4, E4, ITV2, Sky Living, MTV and E! from May 2011.
The inspiration for the ads was formed from all the great feedback Barry M regularly receive from customers and are based around a group of girls (aged between 18-22) talking about what they love about Barry M.
The stars of the adverts reflect a range of girls from the UK, from Sheffield to London, each with a different look and style.
Barry M sent a selection of products prior to the shoot so the girl’s genuine feedback could be included. The shoot was filmed on location at the The Depositories in London, in a variety of everyday situations including a lounge, a bedroom, a coffee shop and the powder room of a nightclub.
There are three versions of the advert in total, set in different locations with different girls, which will show across all channels.
To celebrate the soon to be 30th anniversary of the brand, a very special guest appearance featured in the ads, from Barry M (Mero) himself, who is featured in the background of the coffee shop. Another special guest is Barry M’s very own mascot Cookie the Bunny who emphasises the animal friendly nature of the products - Barry M Cosmetics have never been tested on animals.
