A new campaign by household towel brand Plenty sees Juan Sheet, the brand's sexy, Latino cleaning superhero, launch a advertising campaign to promote his new Spills Helpline.
The tongue-in-cheek campaign sees Juan's “home-made” posters advertising his mission to save households everywhere from spills. Ads are appearing from this week (April 18) across the UK, when his spills helpline, 0800 276 1111, will also go live. Juan Sheet will also be filming a number of short videos, the first of which is due to go live on his Facebook page.
Best known as the brand icon of SCA’s leading household towel brand Plenty, Juan Sheet is on a mission to wipe up as many spills and stains as possible. His love of cleaning spills and stains inspired Juan Sheet to set up the service, which has SCA’s blessing.
Says Juan Sheet: “Pretty ladies all over the United of Kingdom are suffering at the filthy hands of the spills. But now they need fear no more. For they can call my spill helpline – with no charge – and I, Juan Sheet, shall save them all.”
Juan Sheet has designed three posters, which will appear at six-sheet sites across the country. Each features a different provocative pose of the housewives’ favourite, phone in hand, with messages such as “’Tis I, Juan Sheet. Your spill is my thrill”. Each poster also includes the spills helpline number 0800 276 1111, a call to action for his Facebook page /juansheet and the “ONE SHEET DOES... PLENTY” logo.
Juan Sheet will also publicise his spill helpline on his Facebook page, through ads in newsagent’s windows and via his own press release.
The campaign has been created by Publicis London with digital activity by Chemistry Communications. Media planning and buying is through Carat.
