Classifieds website Gumtree.com is launching a new campaign to highlight how quick and easy it is to use it to cash in on unwanted items.
The campaign, created by (Beta), will break on March 25 and will run across ITV, Five, C4 and Skymedia channels. The three executions aim to build on the success of the site’s first TV campaign earlier this year.
With the strapline ‘It’s local, it’s quick, and it’s free’ the TV spots include a couch being fired from a catapult, a pram bouncing from a trampoline and a car being lassoed by a speeding plane. Each scene ends with a bag of money landing in the arms of the person listing their unwanted item, illustrating the ease of selling your wares on Gumtree.com.
Recently smashing the 10 million visits per week milestone, Gumtree.com connects 13.7 million people across the UK to buy, sell, find or swap anything from cars, jobs, property, goods and services within their local neighbourhoods.
