Guinness has launched a new campaign that aims to prepare the traditionally reserved British men for St Patrick’s Day on March 17, which is apparently “the friendliest day of the year”.
There are three executions in the campaign which aim to show men how to smile, hug other men and start conversations with strangers. In each, two men demonstrate the appropriate skill as a voiceover advises on how best to approach it.
The campaign will run online, on Facebook and YouTube, and Pub TV, runs from this week. Media is via Carat.
