Maltesers have launched a new TV campaign encouraging people to raise their Maltesers for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, which will be held on March 18
The campaign, which will break today (February 3), invites consumers to share videos and pictures of themselves suspending or raising their Maltesers in funny and innovative ways. They can then share their footage and images on www.maltesers.co.uk for the once in a lifetime chance to see their entry appear in TV ads for the campaign and to win the chance to go along to the celebrity challenges and lend a supporting cheer for their favourite stars.
Meanwhile, Tess Daly, Kimberley Walsh and Joanna Page will take to the skies in their bid to raise their Maltesers, Tess Daly will be suspended by jets of air in a vertical wind tunnel as she tries her hand at indoor skydiving, Kimberley Walsh will be paragliding and Joanna Page will be performing loop the loops and barrel rolls as she takes part in an aerobatic flight – all whilst holding on tightly to their Maltesers.
It is hoped that the celebrity ‘Raisers’ will inspire others to get involved and help Maltesers to reach their target of raising £1m for Comic Relief.
As part of its official partnership with Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, Maltesers will donate at least 2p for every special pack of Maltesers in a bid to raise £1 million for the charity.
