Totaljobs.com has launched its first national TV advertising campaign in a decade.
The ads, also airing on national radio stations, went live in the new year.
The national launch follows a successful regional trial of the ads in the North West of England, which saw the site more than treble its number of unique users and increase site visits by 220%. The TV ads, featuring the strapline "It’s not luck, it’s totaljobs.com", show household electrical goods discussing job seeking, and are narrated by Sir Ian Holm.
They are running on ITV Channels, Channel 4, Five and some satellite and Freeview channels. Ads will also air on regional radio stations in London, the South East, the North West, and the East and West Midlands. The venture into national television and radio broadcasting complements previous above the line activity, which kicked off last year and includes ads on Spotify and 4oD.
The campaign was developed by VCCP and planning and buying handled by Universal McCann London.
