Maria Sharapova demonstrates both her tennis prowess and the benefits of Google’s Search by Voice technology in this video made to promote the feature.
Created by Dare digital creative directors Jonny Watson and Dan Harrison, the pair offered themselves up as target practice for Sharapova after being offered 90 minutes with the Russian tennis star to make a video about voice search.
They challenge Sharapova to find the answer to three questions using Google By Voice and then pick her answer by taking aim at one of the boys, who are holding up answer cards. She even asks one question in Russian.
The video, which was released just before Christmas, became part of Google’s Demo Slam, which encourages people to make videos about how to use Google features and then post for the public to vote on. It is currently at the number four slot and had racked up nearly 200,000 views.
