Argos has launched the final phase in its Christmas campaign, dramatising the benefits of “Argosing it”.
The new commercials support various different ways that Argos can help consumers locate and get the gifts they want, particularly if they have left it late this Christmas.
The ‘Wise Men’ campaign features three very confused Wise Men in a variety of scenarios as they navigate their way across the desert to deliver their Christmas gifts. In each case Argos comes to the rescue, providing them with simple solutions to help them find exactly what they are looking for.
“Finding time to organise Christmas can be really stressful, particularly if you have left it late and are worried about the things you want not being in stock,” said Head of Brand Development at Argos, Siobhan Fitzpatrick.
“Argos has lots of simple solutions to make things easier at this time of year and so we have created a new campaign to make sure people know about them. ”
The campaign launches with two 20sec TV spots – ‘Sat Nav’ and ‘Frisbee’ – which promote the Argos online stock-checker and reservation service that enables consumers to set aside items and pick them up as soon as they need them.
These are followed up by a further three 10” edits, supporting the ‘Quickpay’ fast track pay option instore and the Argos iPhone app, both offering alternative ways for you to “Argos it” this Christmas.
The TV ads will also be supported by an online campaign that will run throughout December.
