Agency: Ogilvy (Germany)
With more cameras sold last year than any other brand in the UK, Fujifilm has launched a seven-figure advertising consumer campaign to support the busy Christmas shopping season.
Promoting three key digital camera models, including the unique 3D FinePix W3 camera, action-packed FinePix F300EXR and the female focused FinePix Z800EXR, the campaign will be seen on-line, in print, on billboards, and at cinemas across the country.
Coinciding with the huge excitement around 3D technology, Fujifilm will be backing a three dimensional cinema advert for the UK’s only real 3D camera - the highly acclaimed FinePix W3.
The 30 second advert created by Ogilvy Germany, will air at cinemas around the country prior to ‘Tron Legacy’, ‘Megamind’ and ‘Narnia’ movie screenings.
Kick-starting the creative campaign will be a series of adverts and advertorials in major lifestyle, national and photographic print media this month which will focus on the quality of Fujifilm’s range.
Large billboard advertising will also feature in major cities through the UK in December and smaller 6 sheet billboards will be placed within key shopping malls in London and Birmingham.
“The Fujifilm camera range is incredibly strong – featuring innovative, easy-to-use, technology at realistic prices; which is why we’re supporting the range with a comprehensive consumer campaign leading up to Christmas,” said Lucy Edwards, Marketing Manager of Fujifilm UK.
“Fujifilm’s heritage is in photography and we are constantly pioneering new digital camera technologies. We are very proud of our market leading status in the UK and our aim for this campaign is to make the public even more aware of our outstanding product range. ”
