BBC Radio 2 has unveiled its new positioning today in a trail created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
The campaign is intended to encourage reappraisal of the brand by showcasing the station’s broad diversity of music and talent, highlighting that when it comes to Radio 2 there is “More 2 It” than the audience may realise.
The trail, entitled Adventure in Sound, stars some of the stations varied presenters including Chris Evans, Graham Norton, Bob Harris, Claudia Winkleman, Jo Whiley, Jeremy Vine and Jamie Cullum.
Five giant projectors were used to stream footage relevant to the presenter’s shows to bring to life the content within each.
Damon Collins, Executive Creative Director at RKCR says: “Getting to the heart of great brands is always fascinating and the more we learn about Radio 2 the more incredible a station we find it to be. This film is intended to simply bring to life the breadth and depth of its offering.”
