October marks the launch of the next round of the popular Birds Eye ‘Polar Bear’ ads, which form part of the game change brand campaign for Birds Eye.
This time we see the bear popping up in other freezers, presenting the new ‘Bake to Perfection’ product line and Ziplock new technology bags.
The polar bear is a Birds Eye advocate - our conscience, even. His role is to remind us all that Birds Eye products are the best there are - and he’s quite forceful about it.
He bursts out of people’s freezers and scolds them for using inferior products. And to do that, he has to be on pretty secure ground in what he’s saying. He may only be glove puppet, but he needs integrity.
The Polar Bear campaign is going to continue to run through the line for Birds Eye for the rest of the year and into 2011. He will appear everywhere from TV and digital, to in-store at point of purchase.
