Scantily-clad and well-oiled builders feature in Sell! Sell!’s first TV work for MyBuilder.com, as part of a campaign launching across TV, VOD, online and print.
The commercial, directed by Mark Denton from Coy!, features a beauty parade of builders, including real-life MyBuilder tradesman Martin Dornan. The builders, who come in all shapes and sizes, strut their stuff in skimpy blue speedos and a selection of ‘tools’, trying to win the approval of homeowners.
“The campaign helps to illustrate how MyBuilder works and why people find it so useful. Finding the right tradesmen to make major changes to a home, big or small, can be a daunting task,” said founder of MyBuilder, Ryan Notz.
“MyBuilder helps homeowners compare tradesmen by giving them access to what really matters: what a tradesman does best, their full work history and genuine reviews from other homeowners.”
He added, “The Builder Beauty pageant is a creative, intelligent and humorous campaign, which creates an entertaining visual analogy for the product itself.”
