Krispy Kreme UK, the doughnut and coffee brand, is launching its first UK advertising campaign.
Created by Addiction London, the campaign will launch on September 27 in London on the underground and in mainline stations including Waterloo, Euston, Victoria and Paddington.
Since its 2003 UK introduction, Krispy Kreme UK has, to date, relied on point of sale, digital and PR activity to market its range of premium doughnuts and coffee. This new campaign positions Krispy Kreme as an office treat and features three executions targeting office workers.
The executions encourage them to “Think Inside the Box” enabling them to become the 'Office Hero' by buying a dozen box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts for the office.=
Addiction London’s campaign comprises of: Krispy Kreme UK branded Tube Cards, 4 sheet posters, lift panels, digital escalator and LCD posters, promotional staff distributing branded Oyster-card holders with LU maps detailing KK locations, and finally, point of sale activity.
Katie de Souza, Head of Marketing at Krispy Kreme UK, said: “We are excited to be testing advertising in the London area and see this as a great opportunity to connect with our target audience, communicating Krispy Kreme as a unique office treat.”
Addiction London was appointed by Krispy Kreme UK in July 2010. Krispy Kreme UK will continue to retain Mischief PR on consumer and trade
