Meet The All New Juice Crew. They are ‘Yo Yo Will’ (the yo yo whizz), ‘Switchfoot Schaeffer’ (the talented skateboarder who, incredibly, is only 6 years old), ‘B Boy Kid Karam’ (the super cool break dancer) and ‘Olivia The Edge’ (the multi-talented champion diver and gymnast).
This year’s brief on Fruit Shoot was to follow up last year’s successful skills platform launch with something bigger, better and even more exciting. To get more kids practicing more skills.
BBH’s answer was a search for the nation’s most skilled kids with the chance to star in Fruit Shoot’s TV ads up for grabs: ‘Skills X Factor’.
Around 90,000 kids participated in 49 live auditions held in shopping centres, parks and entertainment centres all over the British Isles, or uploaded audition videos to fruitshoot.com.
The breadth of skills and the range of abilities we saw was amazing: from devil sticks to dancing and from karate to cup-stacking, from national champions right through to kids that turned up on the day and learned a new skill to audition with there and then.
Kids voted on their favourites to win on fruitshoot.com: a brave decision for a client!
