MCBD and Elvis’ marketing campaign to support the launch of Premier Foods’ Great Little Ideas brand has seen over 270,000 visits to its website since it went live on April 12, 2010.
The site, greatlittleideas.com, which offers mums hints, tips and twists on how to use some of Britain’s best loved food brands has had over 200,000 unique visitors, with over 1.3m page views in less than two months (April 12 – June 6).
Over 32,000 users have ‘liked’ a Great Little Idea, and over 10,000 consumers have watched the TV ads or seen a “How to” video on the site.
Great Little Ideas comes to life with consumer-voted top 10 favourites like Hot and Spicy Chakalaka Chicken using Branston’s latest relish, Oxo Glazed Sausages, Banana Brulee with Ambrosia and Hartleys Fizzy Jelly.
As part of a £10m launch drive, a second burst of TV activity breaks on July 5 and sees Football Legend Terry Venables fronting this ad for Batchelors ‘Pasta ‘N’ Sauce’.
A second execution sees ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Craig Revel Horwood promoting Branston.
The ‘Look out for the stars’ campaign includes press and online advertising, along with in-store activity, which encourages consumers to look out for the Great Little Ideas yellow star logo on packs of 16 key Premier Foods brands such as Batchelors, OXO, and Loyd Grossman.
