Mazuma Mobile, a leading UK online mobile phone recycler, has launched a new TV advertising campaign featuring 2009 Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists Stavros Flatley.
The popular father-son comedy duo were semi-finalists in last year’s talent show, and have since maintained their popularity with live comedy dance routines across the country.
The 40 and 30 second Mazuma advertisements are being launched on ITV to coincide with this year’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent Finals’ and ‘Britain’s Got More Talent’, which will feature an interview with Demetri from Stavros Flatley.
This is the first time Stavros Flatley have been involved with brand endorsement.
“This campaign continues to increase awareness of the benefits of mobile phone recycling, and educates the public on just how easy it is to recycle with Mazuma Mobile, but this time we went all out to push the fun and cheeky side of our brand,” said Managing Director, Mazuma Mobile, Charlo Carabott.
“Stavros Flatley’s fan base in Britain is huge, with over a million fans on their Facebook page alone, and they will love to see the pair back on television. Stavros’ tongue-in cheek but honest and down to earth image is loved all over the country, and is perfectly aligned with our own Mazuma brand values.’’
Facebook fans of Mazuma Mobile and Stavros Flatley received their own sneak preview launch of the new advertisement, with links to connect the pages and the fan base.
The advertisement was shot in Cyprus and produced by Birmingham-based advertising agency Koala Inc.
