Agency: Mother London
Gü, the chocolate dessert brand, has launched a dark and sensual advertising campaign asking pudding lovers the question “Gü you Ganache?”.
The campaign, which has been created by Mother London, marks the first TV advertising for Gü, the premium dessert brand that launched in 2003.
The work breaks with a TV spot, which sees a middle-aged woman get drawn into a dark world of sensual abandon.
In the film we see the woman nervously entering a suburban house, where she is led into a room full of glamorous women surrounding a dark stranger. He asks her the question “Gü you Ganache?”.
She gives the correct answer: “I Ganache Gü” and so opens the door to her darkest pudding desires…
“We are excited to start telling consumers about Gü in a big way and introducing them to our special world; a world which is dark, mysterious, sensual, and indulgent; a world which is all about chocolate and giving in to your deepest desires,” said Head of Marketing at Gü, Sonia Kapadia.
“Only Gü can deliver the chocolate hit that consumers desire, and we are embarking on telling the whole nation just that.”
The campaign breaks on TV, supported by outdoor advertising and digital activity. Media planning and buying is through AMS Media Group
Gü launched with three products in 2003, and was joined by a früity little sister, Frü, two years later. It is estimated that a Gü pud is now eaten somewhere in the world every two seconds.
