As the ad continues we are reintroduced to an old school English gent, the charismatic and iconic Leslie Philips who charms our beautified, admiring Nanas.
Leslie swaps the silver screen and fighting off the attentions of Angelina Jolie in ‘Tomb Raider’(2001) for the affections of the also now iconic Shreddies Knitting Nanas, celebrating his seventh decade in front of the camera!
His charisma adds a bit of “Ding Dong” to the spot as he relaunches his trademark catch-phrase, wooing the nation’s favourite Nanas.
