Twinings and AMV BBDO have created new work that builds upon the successful `Discover the Art of Tea’ campaign from earlier this year, which featured sand artist Ilana Yahav.
The new 40-second spot entitled `Waterfall’ breaks January 4, 2010 on national TV and sees an artist brewing thousands of cups of Twinings infusions to create a beautiful image of a waterfall.
The £1.3 million campaign uses the natural beauty of Infusions colours to bring to life the beautifully refreshing experience of drinking these, enticing people to discover the many blends in the world of Twinings Infusions.
The ad builds intrigue as we see a young male artist brewing an infusion and placing this in the middle of a large studio.
As more and more cups are placed we begin to see the making of a large grid, each cup being filled with a different coloured tone of Infusion, as if each were a pixel.
The camera eventually pulls back to reveal the artist’s image of a beautiful waterfall.
He then clicks into action a bolex camera to animate the teas and create the effect of moving and shimmering waterfall made entirely from Twinings Infusions.
