Burger King has launched its latest premium burger – the BK Bacon Caesar Angus burger, available in restaurants nationwide.
The product launch will be supported by a four-week long ad campaign devised by Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The 10 and 30-second adverts running until November 11, 2009, aim to highlight the premium nature of the Angus burger.
The creative shows employees in a doorbell factory as they are tested on their workmanship, but not all are deemed deserving of the ultimate reward of a Bacon Cesar Angus burger.
With predecessors such as the BK Angus 6-Pack, Three Pepper Angus, Chorizo Angus and the Smoked Bacon and Cheddar Angus - Burger King’s new Bacon Caesar Angus, aims to take the burger connoisseur to a whole new level.
It consists of top of the range, premium beef – 100% certified Aberdeen Angus, Caesar mayonnaise, lettuce, tangy onion straws, Grano Padano cheese and bacon.
“As the first and only quick-service restaurant in the UK to offer 100% flame-grilled fully certified Aberdeen Angus beef, we’re continuously leading the way with the best quality burgers on the high street,” said Marketing Director of Burger King in the UK and Ireland, Sarah Power.
The Bacon Caesar Angus burger is priced at £4.69.
