Unilever has launched a new campaign to promote the fact that its Vaseline Essential Moisture lotion has been around for 40 years.
The TV will coincide with the September in-store activity to drive sales of the Vaseline Essential Moisture variant.
The client brief was to celebrate the 40 years of Vaseline Essential Moisture, but to do it in a way that sets it aside slightly from the other advertising in its category (e.g. Dove)
Research showed us that this product is often used by all members of a family because its passed on as being reliable and good.
BBH’s creative solution has been built around three women from three generations (grandmother, mother and daughter) all getting ready for an event and moisturising.
“The mother and daughter in this TV ad are actual mother and daughter, something we really worked hard to find,” an agency insidr said.
