Hamelin Paperbrands, Europe’s leading branded notepad and books manufacture is making it’s UK TV debut with a £1.5 million advertising campaign.
The initiative to promote their new range of Oxford notepads.
To coincide with the planned broadcast outreach, a £150,000 advertising poster campaign will also go live nationwide from August 24. The timing of the outreach is to coincide with the ‘back to school’ period, a key sales time for Oxford.
As part of the £1.5 million advertising campaign, strong in-store promotional activity will run across all channels. The activity will include power aisle features in Tesco, till advertising in Ryman stores and staff in WH Smith wearing branded t-shirts along with FSDU’s in all Staples, Ryman and convenience stores.
“The launch of the Oxford advertising campaign is extremely exciting and TV exposure is a first for Oxford in the UK,” said Hamelin Paperbrands Marketing Director, Gerard O’Mahony.
“We are confident it will be a success along with the supporting marketing activity and will only help to grow Oxford as a brand.”

The new Oxford notebook range features quality 90gsm Optic Paper, which allows the user to write on both sides without the ink showing through. The range is available in four colours and three sizes and comes with polypropylene covers providing durable protection for everyday use as well as punched and perforated edges creating ease in removing and filing the pages.
