PZ Cussons personal wash brand Original Source, is set to hit our screens with a campaign that pushes the brand’s range for men.
Developed by TBWA\Manchester, Original Source’s retained creative brand agency, the campaign continues to highlight the brand’s appeal to sports enthusiasts, this time transporting viewers into the world of extreme sporting activities to come face to face with the adventurers themselves.
Two 10” TV ads will take the viewer on an intensely steep and bumpy mountain bike journey and a white knuckle ride down a treacherous river in a canoe. The bike rider and canoeist have camera technology that zooms in on their faces, keeping them stationary whilst every other aspect around them is moving.
Commenting on the new campaign, Nigel Wolstenholme, Senior Brand Manager at Original Source, said “Original source is best known for being ‘packed with natural stuff’. The campaign highlights this whilst showing just how effective the new men’s range can be, even for the extreme adventurer.”

TV will go live on August 3 and feature two products within the range – orange oil and ginger bodywash and mint and tea-tree shave gel.
The campaign comes at an exciting time amidst the announcement of Original Source’s recent involvement as headline sponsor at this year’s Mountain Mayhem.
It also coincides with the 125th anniversary of parent brand, PZ Cussons, that amongst other activity, has seen the launch of their North West £26m innovation centre and them being one of the headline sponsors for Manchester International Festival.
