A new spot for Gillette sees the brand’s ambassadors, Derek Jeter, Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, showing the world they’re not just sportsmen - they have a sense of humour too.
The stars are spirited back to New York in 1977, stepping out and boogying down to the soundtrack of the Bee Gee’s ‘Staying Alive’ from the disco classic, ‘Saturday Night Fever’.
Closing with the line, ‘Here’s to confidence’, it’s clearly about having the guts to take to the streets in questionable fashion.
The ad is to promote a 500 per day razor giveaway at Gillette.com/walk.
