Conservation charity WWF-UK is launching an online acquisition campaign to drive people to adopt a panda. The digital campaign aims to encourage new and existing supporters to donate from £3 per month to raise funds to conserve the endangered giant panda and its habitat, within the wider context of WWF’s work.
The online advertising features a giant panda and her cub being slowly revealed as the bamboo forest disappears before them. It features the message “Bamboo forests are home to the last 1600 wild pandas, but as the forests are carved up the panda faces extinction. You can help from just £3 per month”.
The ads highlight the fact that panda adoption makes a real and positive impact on the work being done for China’s giant panda population, now confined to fragmented forest in the mountains of southern China.
The campaign’s online advertising will be appearing on various web sites including Ebay and will drive would-be adopters to the WWF panda adoption site. Campaign media was bought by the digital media agency, i-Level.
Tell us what you think of the campaign and you could win a bottle of Champagne in our ‘Review of the Month’ competition.
