Following UKTV's major branding exercise of several of its channels, here is its new ident for its new Yesterday channel - formerly known as UKTV History.
The broadcaster is aiming to target upmarket 30-something couples with the new branding and will present history programmes as more accessible and entertaining with a “new emphasis on living history”.
It will try to present It will include programme son popular culture with the aim of making the channel “feel more immediate and more personal”.
The programming, which will include Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain and The Alan Clark Diaries, will end with the line “Where the past is always present”.
