Foxy Bingo.com, who has previously used Jordan as its brand ambassador, has launched this new £10 million integrated advertising campaign.
Activity will include TV, radio, poster and press. The campaign launches with a week of 10 sec teasers, in the style of mini movie trails.
In a very brave move from Cashcade the teasers, which feature no mention of brand, are designed to create buzz about the £1 million promotion and the mystery character. They feature a URL for a dummy website, giving people the chance to guess “Who is Back?”
These will be swiftly followed by the 40 sec reveal ad, which features 100’s of women flocking to a mysterious spacecraft.
The spacecraft opens to reveal Foxy emerge, shrouded in dry ice. “He’s Back” with a CGI makeover courtesy of Glassworks Amsterdam.
The whole of the forest floor becomes a 70’s disco floor and a kitsch disco dance routine breaks out, to the classic track Funky Town.
It’s 2001 meets Close Encounters meets Boogie Nights with Foxy as a Northern John Travolta.
Patrick Southon, managing director of Cashcade, said, “This campaign sees Foxy Bingo giving away £1m over one month - its greatest promotion to date. The promotion kick starts at the end of January, running through out 2009.”
