Road safety body THINK! Has launched this new £3.2 million campaign to highlight the consequences of speeding in a 30 mile zone.
The harrowing TV ad offers the stark message that if you kill someone while speeding you will be tormented by it forever.
In the ad, a driver is haunted by images of the child he has killed — seeing his body in the bathroom mirror, through the window of a bus and when in the park with his son.
The message behind the ad, speed kills, brings home that more than 700 people were killed in 2007 in accidents where someone was driving too fast.
The new THINK! campaign carries the strapline, ‘Kill your speed, or live with it’, and encompasses TV, radio, cinema and online advertising activity.
