Chocolate body paint is a pretty reliable present it comes to buying the boss a secret Santa gift.
But if your one of those people who love putting a bit of effort into the office tradition, and avoiding cringes, you’ll love Boot’s latest Christmas advert.
Like women possessed, a tribe of female office workers put a lot of effort, enthusiasm and thought into their gifts, unlike the office’s men who are seen sheepishly wrapping staplers.
Boots teamed up with the Sugababes, to feature the trio’s recent single “Girls”, which includes a sample of “Here Come the Girls” by Ernie K Doe, the song that had its first airing on the Boots festive advert of 2007.
The office scene was shot over a period of five days in a disused office block. There 400 women on the site and only 50 men, but everyone had to have a go at wrapping their own secret Santa present.
In keeping with the theme of the advert, over 3,000 staff at Boots UK’s Nottingham and Feltham support offices will be attempting to break the world record for the largest number of people involved in a secret Santa on one day.
