The Sun has launched a national ad campaign to promote its weekday 30p price with an TV ad set to a cover version of Depeche Mode's ‘Just Can't Get Enough’.
As part of the ‘All for just 30p’ campaign, the TV ad opens with a young couple in a park enjoying a copy of The Sun. As they turn the pages, more people join them and the paper unfolds getting bigger until it covers the whole park, with hundreds of people reading it.
The ad, which consists of 60-second, 40-second, 20-second and Scottish versions, will run for an initial three-weeks.
During the same time, The Sun is running a series of projections onto famous buildings, showing a huge till receipt highlighting the paper’s breadth of content. Over 100 projections are planned across 16 UK cities. ‘All for just 30p’ billboards and radio spots were launched earlier this month.
