The first phase of the latest worldwide campaign for Brazilian tourism is hoping to be sensational.
The campaign hopes to convince travelers that Brazil offers many experiences and sensations in one trip.
Launched by the Ministry of Tourism, through the Brazilian Tourist Board Embratur, the campaign will be presented in print, online and outdoors and aimed at the general public and the tourist trade.
“With the launch of the campaign, we have inaugurated a new phase in the promotion of Brazil as a tourist destination for foreigners, with more focus on communication with the consumer.
The objective is to create more demand and support the commercialization of the products, services and Brazilian destinations in the main issuing world markets” explains the Minister of Tourism, Luiz Barretto.
Initially the campaign will be launched in some South American countries – Argentina, Chile and Peru –, and in two countries in North America – United States and Canada –, and in Europe – Germany, Spain, France, Holland, England, Italy and Portugal. Together, these countries were responsible for 70% of foreign visitors to Brazil in 2007.
