Shot in the style of a Bollywood epic Tilda’s new TV and cinema campaign portrays the ‘legend’ of Tilda rice.
Broadcast across Asian channels including Zee TV, Star TV and Sony TV Asia, the latest campaign hopes to drive sales in both the traditional and mainstream consumer markets.
The TV advert, created by Lowe’s Mumbai office, features a couple having a romantic meal in a smart Indian restaurant. The following shots take the viewer back in time weaving rice into an epic historical tale.
Tilda brand manager Dilip Srinivasan says, “The advertisement narrates the story of this legend in the style of a big-budget, Bollywood epic. By communicating our brand values to consumers we will continue to drive sales growth in both the traditional and mainstream consumer markets.”
The advert will run for the remainder of 2008.
