DDB has unveiled the second ‘Paddington’ TV campaign for Marmite, featuring British icon, Paddington Bear.
The campaign builds on the idea that Paddington likes Marmite in his sandwiches and shows the bear using the Squeezy format of the product in a wide range of different sandwiches.
Forty second, thirty second, ten second cut-down and standalone ten second spots have been created.
The work is set in The Brown’s back garden as they throw a party for Paddington’s birthday, with ensuing havoc after ‘a little something extra’ is added to the sandwiches.
Marketing Manager at Unilever, Noam Buchalter, said, "These new ads have all the charm of Paddington combined with the humour and edge of Marmite.
“They make it really clear that adding Marmite to your sandwiches can make them more interesting, whether you love it or hate it."
